Default noob needs help forming a party...

I'm just starting out as an A/N.

I got to Jinzo just fine, and went back to the monastery and talked to Ludo about forming a party of henchmen for the next quest. That works just fine, up to a point.

I invite them to join, click in the "+" and they get added to my party box, but here's the thing: They don't follow when I move out. They just stand there like tar babies.

How do I get them to come along with me for the quest>

Tha, in advance.

They won't follow you while you're in an outpost. You need to actually leave into the instanced area in order for them to appear.

Are you sure you are inviting henchmen, or are you inviting people? People have to accept your inivitation and will appear in the party window all greyed out. Henchmen (and people who have accepted) will appear in your party window underneath your name just like you (there name in a red health bar).

Not sure if this is what you've done, but this is how you should do it.

Invite them to join and click the plus so that they are added to your party. (As you did in your OP)
Then leave the outpost to do your quest (while they are in your party), and they should be with you when you get outside.

Are you saying that they literally do not follow when you start moving in the explorable area or are you just talking about in town?

To make sure it is hench you are choosing, while in town, press p on your keyboard. When the other window comes up, click on the hench tab and then select your hench from there.

If they're listed in your party window with a red bar, then they're in your party and they'll be in the explorable area when you go.
